This Cookie Policy describes the purpose and use of the information that is processed in the course of using or visiting our website through the use of cookies or similar technologies as well as social media appearances. In addition, we provide information about security measures that are useful for the confidentiality of the transmitted data and the protection of privacy. In the following, website means all pages of Check All AG, its sub-pages as well as websites with products and services This cookie policy, on the other hand, does not concern websites of third parties.
1. how to control the use of cookies or similar technologies?
You can avoid cookies at any time by following the cookie avoidance information in the respective web browser. In principle, web browsers accept cookies automatically, but offer options to block or delete them. The instructions for managing cookies on web browsers can usually be found under the help functions or in the operating instructions of the mobile device.
When we use cookies, it is to better understand you, to tailor content to interests and needs, and to improve offers.
2. how is the data stored?
The IP data of the connection owners are stored by the website operator when visiting the websites. Under certain circumstances, data such as name and address or other personal data may also be collected. We store data only as long as required by the applicable legal requirements or the purpose of the processing. The duration of storage depends on the legal and internal regulations. If there is no longer a retention requirement, we delete or anonymize the data as part of our normal processes.
3. what online tracking techniques are used?
If we integrate a provider of an analysis tool on the website, this may also collect corresponding data. Such tools are codes that servers of us or servers of another provider transmit to the browser or your terminal device when connecting to websites and stores until the programmed expiration date.
WWe use cookies or similar third-party technologies, for example, to use third-party features such as analytics services and website optimization and personalization services. Cookies and similar third-party technologies also enable these providers to target you with individualized advertising on our websites or on other websites and social networks that also work with this third party and to measure how effective advertisements are.
Your behavior can thus be recorded across multiple websites and across multiple end devices. The respective provider can often also use this data for its own purposes, e.g. for personalized advertising on its own website and on other websites that it supplies with advertising. If you are registered with such providers, providers can allocate the usage data. The processing of such data is carried out by the providers under their responsibility and own data protection regulations. Insofar as these third-party providers process data, they do so either as order processors of us or as sole data controllers, depending on the type of service and data processing. We currently work together with the following providers for the aforementioned purposes:
- Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to generate reports on the use of our website by enabling Google to track the behavior of visitors to our websites (e.g. duration, frequency of pages viewed, geographical origin of access). We also use Google Audience, another web analytics service provided by Google. Through this service, data is collected and stored, from which pseudonymized usage profiles are created. Through this technology, you can receive targeted advertising from us on other external pages of the Google Partner Network. Google Audience receives access to the cookies created in the context of the use of Google Analytics. In the course of use, data, such as in particular the IP address and activities may be transmitted to a server of the company Google LLC and stored there. Google LLC may transfer this information to third parties if this is required by law or if processing of this data by third parties takes place.
The provider of Google Analytics is Google LLC, responsible for data protection is Google Ireland Ltd. We have configured Google Analytics so that the IP addresses are shortened before being forwarded to the USA, so that they cannot be traced. We also do not transmit any data to Google that can be associated with you. Google provides us with reports and evaluations based on the collected user data and in this sense is our order processor. However, Google also processes the collected data to improve its products and services. Information on the data protection of Google Analytics can be found at https://support.google.com/analytics. If you wish to prevent its use, the following measures can be taken: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en .
- Google reCAPTCHA
We use Google reCAPTCHA (hereinafter "reCAPTCHA") on our website. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google").
The purpose of reCAPTCHA is to check whether data entry on our websites (e.g. in a contact form) is made by a human or by an automated program. For this purpose, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, time spent by the website visitor on the website or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google. By inserting reCAPTCHA, data is transferred from them to the American and European Google servers. The IP address that your browser transmits to Google is generally not merged with other Google data from other Google services. However, if you are logged into your Google account while using the reCAPTCHA plug-in, the data will be merged. The reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not made aware that an analysis is taking place. It is in the legitimate interest of Check All to protect its web offers from abusive automated spying and from SPAM.
For more information about Google reCAPTCHA and its privacy policy, please see https://google.com/recaptcha/ and https://policies.google.com/privacy. If you want to be excluded from an analysis, you can set this at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
4. how do we use social media presences?
We may operate our own presences on social networks and similar third-party platforms. If you communicate with us via such presences or comment on or redistribute content, we collect corresponding information and process you primarily for communication and marketing purposes. We have the right, but not the obligation, to check content before or after it is published and to delete content without notification (e.g. in the case of unacceptable behavior), insofar as this is technically possible, or to report it to the provider of the relevant platform. In the event of a breach of decency and conduct rules, we may also report the relevant user account to the provider of the platform for blocking or deletion.
When visiting social media sites, data (e.g. visitor behavior) may also be transmitted or collected directly by the providers and processed together with other data already known about you (e.g. for marketing and market research purposes). For more information on data processing by social network providers, please refer to the privacy policies of the respective social networks. We currently work with the following providers for the purposes mentioned:

When using the plugin, such as clicking on the start button of a video, this information is also assigned to your user account. You can prevent this assignment by logging out of your YouTube user account and other user accounts of the companies YouTube LLC and Google Inc. before using our website and deleting the corresponding cookies of the companies.

- Instagram
Our website also uses social plugins ("plugins") from Instagram, which is operated by Instagram LLC., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA ("Instagram"). The plugins are marked with an Instagram logo, for example in the form of an "Instagram camera".
When you visit our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of Instagram. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Instagram directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, Instagram receives the information that your browser has called up the corresponding website, even if you do not have an Instagram profile or are not currently logged into Instagram. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to an Instagram server in the USA and stored there. If you are logged in to Instagram, Instagram can directly assign your visit to our website to your Instagram account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the "Instagram" button, this information is also transmitted directly to an Instagram server and stored there.
If you do not want Instagram to directly assign the data collected via our website to your Instagram account, you must log out of Instagram before visiting our website. For more information, please visit https://help.instagram.com.
